Hedge End Gym is the area’s first 24/7 fitness facility, offering round-the-clock access to state-of-the-art training for the local community.
Unlike national chains, this independent gym is run by local trainers who understand and support the needs of their members. With a clear mission to create a welcoming, results-driven environment, the owners embarked on a full-scale refurbishment to transform the site into a fully branded, high-impact facility in time for their grand opening on December 1st - a crucial milestone ahead of the New Year fitness rush.
The renovation process spanned six weeks, during which the space underwent significant structural and visual changes. Given the tight timeline and the importance of staying on schedule, the owners chose to partner with us to deliver the design, production and installation inhouse. From the outset, we worked closely with them to understand their goals and translate those into branding solutions that reflected their identity: independent, accessible, and inspiring.
Our first step was a site assessment to determine the most effective use of the gym’s roadside presence. With visibility a key factor for driving awareness and foot traffic, we delivered a bold exterior signage package that aligned with the brand’s budget and delivered maximum roadside impact. This approach ensured Hedge End Gym would stand out and make an immediate impression on passersby, particularly in the crucial lead-up to their opening.
Inside the facility, we continued this branding ethos with a strong visual identity that helped define and separate key training zones. Graphics were applied directly to exposed brickwork and other surfaces to give a raw, authentic feel that matched the gym’s character. The owners also wanted a striking focal point – a large interior banner displaying their core message, #UnleashYourPotential, which now serves as a daily motivator and brand anchor for every member who walks through the door.
The end result was a fully branded gym that not only launched on time but exceeded expectations in both aesthetics and impact. Hedge End Gym is now firmly established as a go-to fitness destination, with a unique local flavor and a strong identity that resonates with its members.
